Savage Adventures is an outdoor adventure company based in South Wales that offers exciting, guided activities in some of the region’s most scenic natural locations. Founded in 2015, the company aims to inspire people to explore the outdoors and “discover their primal side” through unique experiences that combine adventure, nature, and personal challenge. They provide a wide range of activities including coasteering, canyoning, climbing, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and guided walks. These adventures take place across the Welsh coastline, rivers, and mountains, and are designed for both beginners and experienced adventurers. Savage Adventures focuses strongly on safety and personalised experiences, with trained instructors guiding participants and tailoring each activity to the group’s ability and goals. In addition to adventure trips, they also offer training courses, school programmes, and corporate outdoor experiences that encourage teamwork, confidence, and connection with nature.

Dive in, challenge yourself, and experience the coast like never before. 🌊 The Gower coastline is one of the best places in the UK to experience coasteering. Known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal clear waters, and incredible marine life, the Gower offers a truly unique playground for adventure. As you make your way along the coast you may explore sea caves, swim through narrow channels, and climb along rocky ledges shaped by thousands of years of tides and waves. On calm days you might even spot seals, seabirds, or colourful sea life beneath the water. Please note that coasteering is a tidal activity, meaning session times are carefully planned around the high tide to ensure the best and safest conditions. Because of this, activity times may vary from day to day depending on the tide schedule. Our guides carefully choose the best locations and routes depending on the tide and conditions, making every session slightly different and always full of adventure.
Family Gorge Walking Adventure

Set on one of our smaller, more gentle rivers, this tailored experience is perfect for little adventurers to explore, play, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Gorge walking is all about exploring the river as you go. You will scramble over rocks, splash through shallow pools, climb small cascades, and experience the excitement of moving through the water. Our experienced guides will adapt the session to suit the group, making sure everyone feels comfortable, included, and encouraged. With plenty of games, challenges, and opportunities to explore, it is all about having fun while discovering something new. This is a relaxed and friendly introduction to adventure activities, ideal for families who want to share an exciting experience together. We provide all the equipment needed, including wetsuits, helmets, and safety gear. All you need to bring is a sense of adventure and be ready to get wet. First Aid at Work Course (Level 3 RQF)

Gain the essential skills and confidence to respond to workplace emergencies with our 3 day First Aid at Work course, delivered to meet a recognised Level 3 (RQF) qualification. This comprehensive course is ideal for businesses, organisations, and individuals who require a fully qualified first aider in the workplace. Designed to meet Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines, this in depth course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a wide range of workplace incidents. Across three engaging days, you will build confidence through hands on training and realistic scenarios. This is a highly practical course, where you will be actively involved from start to finish. Expect to get stuck in, practise real skills, and take part in scenario based learning rather than sitting through endless slides. We focus on learning by doing, so you leave confident and ready to act in real situations. What the course covers: Roles and responsibilities of a first aider Assessing an incident and managing an emergency Primary survey and casualty assessment CPR and use of an AED Recovery position Choking Wounds, bleeding, and shock Burns and scalds Fractures, sprains, and soft tissue injuries Head and spinal injuries Major illnesses including heart attack, stroke, asthma, epilepsy, and diabetes Managing unconscious casualties Record keeping and incident reporting Training can take place at our centre or at your chosen venue, provided it has a suitable sized classroom or office space for practical sessions. The venue must also have access to a TV or projector for course delivery, as well as toilet facilities. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate (RQF), valid for 3 years. No previous experience is required. Just bring a willingness to learn and be ready to gain vital life saving skills that can make a real difference in the workplace.

Outdoor First Aid Course (Level 3 RQF)

Gain the skills and confidence to respond to emergencies in outdoor environments with our 16 hour Outdoor First Aid course, delivered in line with a recognised Level 3 (RQF) qualification. This practical, hands on course is ideal for outdoor instructors, coaches, and anyone working or spending time in remote environments. It is also essential for outdoor guides, Forest School leaders, and those involved in Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programmes. Over two engaging days, you will learn how to assess and manage a wide range of situations, from minor injuries to serious incidents, with a strong focus on real life outdoor scenarios where help may be delayed. What the course covers: Roles and responsibilities of a first aider Assessing an incident and managing an emergency Primary survey and casualty assessment CPR and use of an AED Recovery position Choking Wounds, bleeding, and shock Minor injuries including cuts, grazes, splinters, and burns Fractures, sprains, and soft tissue injuries Head, neck, and spinal injuries Environmental conditions such as hypothermia, heat exhaustion, and dehydration Anaphylaxis and allergic reactions Asthma and other medical conditions Casualty care and management in remote locations With expert instruction and plenty of hands on practice, you will build the confidence to act quickly and effectively in an emergency. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Level 3 Outdoor First Aid certificate (RQF), valid for 3 years. No previous experience is required. Surfing Lessons

Join us for an exciting 2 hour surf lesson on the beautiful Gower Peninsula, perfect for beginners and those looking to improve their skills. This session is designed to give you plenty of time in the water, building confidence and having fun while learning to surf. You will start with a quick introduction on the beach, covering safety, basic techniques, and how to read the waves. Then it is straight into the sea, where our experienced instructors will guide you step by step, helping you paddle, pop up, and ride your first waves. With small group sizes and plenty of encouragement, you will get lots of individual coaching throughout the session. Whether you are standing up for the first time or working on improving your technique, this lesson is all about progression, confidence, and enjoying the ocean. We provide all equipment, including wetsuits and surfboards. Just bring a towel, swimwear, and your sense of adventure. Welsh 3 peaks Challange

3 peaks. 17 miles. 2,334 metres of ascent in 24 hours or less? Wales, with its rugged landscapes and towering mountains, offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK. Now imagine conquering its three highest peaks in just 24 hours. With Savage Adventures, this exhilarating challenge becomes an unforgettable journey of endurance, teamwork, and achievement. You will summit Yr Wyddfa, Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan, taking on a total of 17 miles (27.4 km) and 2,334 metres (7,657 ft) of ascent. This is a tough challenge, designed to push your limits while rewarding you with some of the most spectacular views Wales has to offer. If the 24 hour challenge is not for you, you can also take a more relaxed approach, spreading the adventure over a longer period and enjoying the journey without the added time pressure. The same incredible peaks, just at your own pace. Highlights Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Standing at 1,085 metres, this is the highest peak in Wales. As you climb, you will be rewarded with sweeping views of valleys, lakes, and distant mountain ranges. Cadair Idris Rising to 893 metres in the southern end of Eryri National Park, this mountain is known for its rugged beauty, glacial lakes, and dramatic landscapes. Pen y Fan At 886 metres, the highest peak in the Bannau Brycheiniog, offering incredible panoramic views across the rolling Welsh countryside.
